That's How Much THEY Know!!

Whilst in Birch Run eating at the not-overly-good chinese restaurant, I bought a package of 12 fortune cookies. Since there were four of us, each got 3 cookies. My fortunes were the following:
  • You will continue to take chances and be glad you did.
  • Your dearest wish will come true

I got the chances one twice. In light of recent events, I can only conclude that fortune cookies are sadly mistaken much of the time.

Yu, ur prolly right.

Scarlett, I agree, sometimes they get lucky and are right. I've had that once or twice, as well. Its prolly providence, right? lol, only at plymouth.

NL, ur totally right. the Unos there has some of THE best pizza ever!! The last time I went I got this barbeque chicken kind...mmm, it was awesome. However, this time it was out of our price range.

Petunia...interesting. Did u ever get the good news?

John...words escape me. I think its entirely possible that its not the CHINESE who are the sick ones...;-)

Why, whats your dearest wish? Nev mind, I think I may know. And taking chances makes life way more fun. Anyway, why trust in something that comes out of something you eat? Thats what gets me. You eat a fortune cookie..thats like devouring your luck..weird

heeeey... john, comment on my blog. everybody, john doesnt like me. sniff. i knew it. and john... the in be thing... try "in the bathroom" or something like that. that way, its not quite as pervy. haha. ERIKA, i have a complete solution to your gripe: when i come to your house with the daisies and balloon i promised (kind of an inside joke) i will bring you a fortune cookie I made, and make sure the fortune is true. like "you have friends who think of you so much, they bring you flowers..." not bad, eh?

Actually, the chain Uno's like the one in Birch Run are total trash when compared to the original in Chicago and the second in Cincinnati.

Scarlett, I like ur brilliant plan a whole lot!! I can't wait to get the flowers, lol.

NL, well, I guess the moral of the story is next time we'll just bring sandwhiches or something. I know, you can make the nasty pumpkin bar thingies u like so much!!
